Auxiliary Power Units (APUs)

Microturbo Auxiliary Power Units are compatible with all hosts, whatever the application: civil or military, air, land or sea.
Microturbo’s different turbine families deliver up to 300 shp (shaft horse power) of electric, pneumatic or mechanical energy to match the specific needs of your programs.

Our Auxiliary Power Units are the perfect cost-efficient compromise between the energy to be produced and the specific configuration of each application.

Starting systems

Depending on the aircraft’s architecture, power is transferred to the main motor either mechanically or pneumatically. Microturbo designs and manufactures a wide range of starters for both modes. It also makes valve systems for engine air turbine starters.

Microturbo provides the starting systems for TP400 engines on the Airbus Military A400M and SaM146 engines on Sukhoi’s SuperJet 100.
